Bridges Academy is a private K-8 school in Northwest Washington, D.C. that participates in the USDA Summer Food Service Program, known locally as the DC Youth Meals Program. During the summer, the school provides free, ready-to-eat meals and snacks to children 18 and younger in the community. No application or ID is required. The school enrolls approximately 169 students in grades PreK through 8 and also operates as a licensed child care center offering daycare and summer care programs.
