Charles H. Parker Academic Center hosts a free USDA Seamless Summer Option meal site run by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools School Nutrition Services. The program provides nutritious, ready-to-eat breakfast and lunch to children and teens ages 18 and younger during summer break. No registration, no sign-up, and no proof of income or identification are needed. Guests check in at the school front office when they arrive, and children eat their meals together on-site in the school cafeteria.
