CHiPS (Community Help in Park Slope) has been fighting hunger and homelessness in Brooklyn since 1971. The organization also operates the Frances Residence, a transitional shelter for prenatal and postpartum women and their infants, and runs a food rescue program that recovers surplus food from local businesses that would otherwise be discarded.
