Empowerment Enterprise II is a community-based nonprofit that provides free meals and enrichment programs to youth and families in the Fairlawn neighborhood of Ward 8 in Washington, DC. Its summer offerings include a daily Summer Free Lunch Program paired with a six-week Summer Youth Employment Program, along with a Safe Summer Block Party and Health Fair that brings food, music, and resources to neighborhood residents.
