A grassroots, non-sectarian collective in El Barrio/East Harlem that honors the legacy of the Young Lords and operates on a mutual-aid model where people both give and receive support. The church provides free groceries and hot meals to the community and connects clients with additional services including English classes, OSHA certification, legal referrals, a healing space offering acupuncture and reiki, and Narcotics Anonymous meetings. Serving the Puerto Rican, Latinx, and broader East Harlem community for over 100 years, the church welcomes people of all faiths and backgrounds.
