FISH

Volunteer-run nonprofit providing emergency assistance to Howard County residents. FISH coordinates delivery of food, staples, and hygiene supplies through its partner Columbia Community Care and offers limited financial assistance for emergencies such as rent, utility shutoff prevention, fuel oil, prescriptions, and other urgent needs. Volunteers provide information, referrals and follow‑up with clients as needed. There is no public walk‑in pantry; clients must call the helpline for assistance.
