Fort Stevens Recreation Center is a DC Department of Parks and Recreation site that hosts the USDA Summer Food Service Program, locally known as the DC Youth Meals Program administered by the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education. During the summer program, the center serves free nutritious meals and snacks to youth 18 and younger, with no application and no ID required. The site is part of Ward 4 in Northwest Washington and contributes to the District's effort to ensure children continue receiving wholesome meals when school is out of session.
Requirements
- First come, first serve: open until food runs out
- All children under 18 are eligible
