Frederick Douglass Christian School is a ministry of World Impact, a Christian organization serving underserved communities. The school hosts a Summer Meals Program for children in partnership with Nutritional Development Services (NDS) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, which provides federally-funded free breakfast and lunch meals to children during summer months when school meals are unavailable. World Impact also provides emergency food, clothing, medicine, housing assistance, job training, and tutoring to the Chester community. The school itself serves Pre-K through 3rd grade students with Christ-centered education.
