A free USDA Summer Food Service Program meal site run by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools School Nutrition Services in partnership with Freedom School Partners, hosted at The Grove Church. Children receive a healthy breakfast and lunch as part of a six-week summer literacy and enrichment program. Open to all children in the community regardless of registration.

How do I get food?

You can receive food by visiting Freedom School-The Grove, at 8:00 AM tomorrow. Make sure to check each resource to see details like address, full schedule, and requirements–Freedom School-The Grove requires: Summer Meal Program- Free meals and snacks to children 18 and younger.

Can someone deliver the food to my house?

Delivery services are very limited and are usually reserved for senior citizens or those with serious medical problems. If you believe you fall into either category, let us know and we can help you find options in your area.

What do I have to bring?
