Greene Hill Food Co-op

Greene Hill Food Co-op is a member-owned and operated not-for-profit cooperative grocery store serving the Bed-Stuy, Clinton Hill, and Fort Greene neighborhoods. Members contribute a 2.5-hour work shift every 4 weeks and a one-time sliding-scale membership investment (starting at $5) in exchange for access to groceries at below-retail prices. The co-op prioritizes seasonal, local, organic, Fair Trade, and sustainably sourced products. EBT/SNAP is accepted for food purchases. Non-members can shop during Open Shopping on most Sundays. This is not a free food pantry — all items are sold at cost to members.
