Info

The Haysville Senior Center operates a food bank and a USDA TEFAP commodities distribution program. You do not need to be a senior to receive assistance from either program—both are open to all eligible residents regardless of age. The food bank provides groceries once per month by appointment only. The commodities program distributes USDA commodity foods including non-perishable, refrigerated, and frozen items. A proxy form can be filled out annually (typically in July) to allow someone else to pick up commodities on your behalf. The center also offers Meals on Wheels and Friendship Meals for seniors.
