Info

Helping Hand Rescue Mission has served Philadelphia's most vulnerable residents since 1905 out of a converted 19th-century landmark in North Philadelphia. In addition to a free weekly meal and food assistance, the mission operates a clothing closet, distributes socks and basic supplies, and runs after-school youth programs including tutoring, soccer, and a summer camp. It also provides legal services focused on preventing homelessness through eviction and foreclosure defense, and helps homeless individuals obtain identification so they can access other services.
