*The Fulton County School Nutrition Program recognizes the vital role that school meals play in combating childhood hunger. To meet the needs of our students & children in the community, the School Nutrition Program will continue to provide nutritious meals across the county as part of its annual Summer Meals Program.

Students attending face-to-face Summer School or Pre-K will be offered free breakfast and lunch meals during their school’s scheduled mealtimes.

The Fulton County School Nutrition Program will also provide meal service for children in the community. Children 18 and under, and those under 21 with special needs, can enjoy a delicious meal daily during the designated times and locations listed below. Meals are FREE for all children in the community. Children do not need to be enrolled in Fulton County Schools to participate.

*Parents/guardians, find additional locations where your child/children can get healthy, daily meals this summer. There are multiple programs that offer summer meals at no cost. Check all these sources to see if there is a meal distribution site in your area. Text “FOODGA” to 877877 from a mobile phone beginning June 1 and be provided geographically based results on the closest sites Visit GeorgiaFoodBankAssociation.org for a GPS-enabled map of the closet sites. How do I get food?

You can receive food by visiting Heritage Elementary, June 8th at 7:20 AM in 3 days. Make sure to check each resource to see details like address, full schedule, and any notes–Heritage Elementary doesn’t have any requirements, so just arrive during operating hours!

Can someone deliver the food to my house?

Delivery services are very limited and are usually reserved for senior citizens or those with serious medical problems. If you believe you fall into either category, let us know and we can help you find options in your area.

What do I have to bring?

Every location is different! Please review the details included on each resource to see whether you need to bring any documentation like ID or proof of address, or supplies like bags to carry the food. If you don’t see any information on the resource, you don’t have to bring anything!

Do I need an appointment?

No appointment needed! Just show up to Heritage Elementary during operating hours — no pre-registration required.

What kind of food do they have?

Soup kitchens like Heritage Elementary offer ready-to-eat items like hot meals or sandwiches. All of these locations may have different options on different days, so it is hard to tell what each one of them will offer any given day.

Where are you located?

Because our work is mostly virtual, the Lemontree team works remotely, and we don’t have an office for in-person visits. Heritage Elementary is located at 2600 Jolly Road!
