Info

Hungry Harvest Community Markets (also known as Produce in a SNAP) is a network of weekly reduced-cost fresh-produce markets operated by Hungry Harvest in partnership with Baltimore-area community organizations, schools, hospitals, and community centers. Each market features approximately nine varieties of fruits and vegetables on a rotating weekly basis, sold at roughly half the price of grocery stores. The program is designed to combat food-desert conditions in Baltimore City by making fresh, affordable produce accessible to anyone in the community. Markets accept cash, credit, and debit, and visitors can select their own produce at the stand. The 'This Week's Harvest' page on the program website is refreshed every Monday to announce that week's produce offerings and confirm market dates.
