Info

Krakus Luncheon Club, run by the Polish & Slavic Center, is a New York City Department for the Aging-funded senior center in Greenpoint that serves a free, hot, balanced lunch — soup, a main dish, and dessert — to older adults each weekday, with menus designed with seniors and approved by a DFTA nutritionist. About 130 seniors gather daily to share a meal in a friendly, Polish-rooted setting and to take part in educational and recreational activities such as ESL classes, chess, cards, bingo, domino, choir, art workshops, movie screenings, and holiday and birthday celebrations, with transportation and one-on-one support available.
