The Marie Reed Recreation Center hosts a free DC Youth Meals summer meal site in Adams Morgan for children and teens 18 and younger. The site operates through a partnership between the DC Department of Parks and Recreation and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, serving ready-to-eat meals during weekday hours throughout the summer season. Beyond the seasonal meal program, this full-service neighborhood recreation center also offers an indoor pool, gymnasium, basketball court, playground, kiddie pool, and tennis court for community members.
