Metro Boston Alive hosts a free Summer Eats lunch site for children and teens eighteen and younger at the Bromley-Heath public housing complex. The program is sponsored through the Massachusetts Department of Education and Project Bread's statewide Summer Food Service Program, serving USDA-compliant meals with fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, eaten on site. Metro Boston Alive is a Roxbury-based nonprofit that supports Black and Brown community members affected by substance use disorder through empowerment, mentorship, education, and recovery programming.
Requirements
- First come, first serve: open until food runs out
- All children under 18 are eligible
- Summer Meal Program- Free meals and snacks to children 18 and younger
