Mother of Mercy House is a Catholic outreach ministry in Kensington that serves sit-down family-style meals where neighbors can share food and conversation in a warm, judgment-free environment. All are welcome regardless of faith or background, and no ID or appointment is needed for meal services. The ministry also provides spiritual support and connects guests to recovery resources through a partnership with St. Joseph's University CARE program. Founded in 2015, the house operates as part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia's presence in the neighborhood.
