New York Common Pantry's East Harlem site provides two distinct programs: a Client Choice Pantry and a Hot Meals/Brown Bags To Go Program. The Client Choice Pantry offers fresh, nutritious groceries every two weeks for registered pantry members. Registration is required, along with ID for adults, ID for children, and proof of address. The Hot Meals/Brown Bags To Go Program provides ready-to-eat meals and is available to all individuals and families; only initials and date of birth are required, no photo ID. Pet food and other social services may be available.
