Old First United Church of Christ runs a Saturday Breakfast & Clothing Cupboard that serves a hot breakfast along with clothing and toiletries to neighbors in need. The program typically serves 50–80 people each week, primarily men experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. It operates every Saturday morning throughout the year. The church also hosts Sunday Community Dinners (currently on hold as of January 2025 while programs are reassessed), a winter shelter, and various social justice and community advocacy efforts.
