Philadelphia's Playstreets program closes a city block to traffic and sets up a free outdoor supervised program where children and teens can enjoy healthy meals and snacks alongside free play equipment and organized group activities. The street is supervised by a trained neighborhood volunteer, so kids have a safe place to play, eat, and connect with their community during summer.
