Playstreet 2300 W. Atlantic St. is a Philadelphia Parks and Recreation community site where neighborhood volunteers close the block to vehicle traffic each weekday so children in the area have a safe, supervised place to play. The site is part of the city's network of more than 400 Playstreets that pair free outdoor play with the USDA-funded Summer Food Service Program, giving local kids a free lunch and snack during the school break.
