PlayStreets is a Philadelphia Parks & Recreation program that closes a designated residential block to traffic to create a safe outdoor play space for neighborhood children. Free nutritious lunches and snacks are served on site to children and teens through the USDA-funded Summer Food Service Program administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Meals must be eaten on site, and the program is open to youth eighteen and under with no identification or registration required.
