Playstreets is a City of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation program that closes designated neighborhood blocks to car traffic each summer so children have a safe outdoor place to play. Free play equipment and supervised activities are provided, and Parks & Rec's Summer Food Service Program supplies free nutritious meals and snacks to children who come to the block. No ID, proof of citizenship, or registration is required to participate.
