Part of Philadelphia's seasonal Playstreets program run by the Philadelphia Department of Recreation. Playstreets close neighborhood blocks to vehicle traffic and transform them into safe outdoor play spaces where children can gather during the summer. Free nutritious lunches and snacks are provided to children in partnership with the USDA Summer Food Service Program so kids have access to healthy meals while enjoying supervised neighborhood play activities during the summer months when school is out.
