Info
Queens Library Poppenhusen Branch partners with NYC Public Schools to host the city's Free Summer Meals Program, providing free lunches to children and teens during the summer. The branch is one of nearly fifty Queens Public Library locations distributing free, ready-to-eat meals through the federal Summer Food Service Program to help families when school is out. Vegetarian options are served at all meal sites, with halal options available at select locations. Kids can walk in during meal service without paperwork or an ID and enjoy a free lunch.
