A free summer meal site that serves breakfast and lunch to children and teens each weekday through Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools' USDA Summer Nutrition Program, hosted at the Salvation Army Belmont Corps. No enrollment or proof of income is required at this open site. The Salvation Army Belmont location also runs a year-round Red Shield Youth Center offering after-school and summer day-camp programming for youth in the Belmont neighborhood.
