Info
St. Augustine Catholic Church, established in 1870 as the first African-American parish in the Archdiocese of Louisville, operates a Dare to Care food center as part of its outreach ministry serving the West Louisville community. The church is an active partner with West Louisville Community Ministries, providing additional support and referral services. Monday distributions include shelf-stable groceries and meat, while Wednesday distributions feature fresh produce and bakery items on a first-come, first-served basis.
