Info
A grassroots, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) food pantry founded in 2020 by Jennifer Macksoud during the pandemic, serving 175+ families weekly in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn. Provides barrier-free food access with no eligibility requirements — neighbors simply show up and receive a numbered ticket. Also maintains the Little Red Food Box, a 24/7 self-service outdoor pantry at the Vinegar Hill Community Garden offering free food and essentials for immediate, anonymous access at any time.
