Info
Walker-Jones Education Campus is a DC Public Schools PreK-3 through 8th-grade campus in the NoMa neighborhood of Ward 6 that serves as a free drop-in summer meal site operated by DC Central Kitchen. During summer break, breakfast and lunch are provided to children 18 and younger and the surrounding community on a first-come, first-served basis. The campus year-round hosts DCPS meal programs including After School Supper and the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program. The grounds also house The Farm at Walker Jones, a small urban farm and farm stand operated by K Street Farms (a separate entity open Tuesday/Thursday 1–6pm and Sunday 12–4pm). The campus provides wraparound community services as a community-based DCPS school.
