Info
Founded in 1997, the Boro Park Jewish Community Council (BPJCC) serves as a comprehensive social services hub for the Boro Park community. The organization acts as a buffer to poverty, connecting individuals and families with benefit enrollment assistance (SNAP, Medicaid, HEAP, SSI/SSDI), housing support, immigration services, Holocaust survivor assistance, crisis intervention, and senior job placement. BPJCC partners with Met Council to provide kosher food distributions, particularly around Jewish holidays. All services are free and confidential. To inquire about the meals program, email meals@bpjcc.org with the mother's full legal name, date of birth, address, and phone number. Appointments for services can be scheduled by calling the main number and dialing 0 for the receptionist.
