Founded in 1997, the Boro Park Jewish Community Council (BPJCC) serves as a comprehensive social services hub for the Boro Park community. The organization acts as a buffer to poverty, connecting individuals and families with benefit enrollment assistance (SNAP, Medicaid, HEAP, SSI/SSDI), housing support, immigration services, Holocaust survivor assistance, crisis intervention, and senior job placement. BPJCC partners with Met Council to provide kosher food distributions, particularly around Jewish holidays. All services are free and confidential. Appointments for services can be scheduled by calling the main number and dialing 0 for the receptionist.

Register in Plentiful app to make appointments, Masbia of Boro Park is part of the Masbia Soup Kitchen Network, providing dignified, restaurant-style hot dinners. They also distribute grocery packages through their food pantry. Appointments for the food pantry are required and can be scheduled via the Plentiful app. Clients may pick up groceries once every seven days. No ID is required to receive services.

Holding Hands Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit founded in 2008 on the streets of Coney Island by Joel Matos and his family. Through partnerships with City Harvest and the Food Bank of New York, the organization operates a weekly food pantry providing groceries to community members in need. Beyond food assistance, they offer support with shelter, spiritual development, employment, moral enrichment, and transitional services. The ministry is committed to compassionately serving the community through acts of service and referrals.

Community food distribution operated by MUNA Social Services at Darul Jannah Masjid, providing culturally appropriate groceries and fresh produce, including halal options, to local residents on a recurring monthly basis.

Center for Family Life's Community Services program provides emergency food packages to individuals and families facing crisis. The program combines a food pantry with the resources of a Benefits Access Program and Advocacy Clinic to help families move toward stability. Food distribution on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday operates on a ticket system; tickets are limited to 30 per day and are distributed starting at 10:00 AM. Clients can return for food distribution at 12:45 PM. Appointments are required for Monday and Friday distribution.

Neighborhood food pantry operated by The Salvation Army’s Brooklyn Sunset Park Corps Community Center, providing free groceries to local residents. The corps also serves a weekday community meal and offers additional social services through the center.
