    Old First United Church of Christ runs a Saturday Breakfast & Clothing Cupboard that serves a hot breakfast along with clothing and toiletries to neighbors in need. The program typically serves 50–80 people each week, primarily men experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. It operates every Saturday morning throughout the year.     A parish-sponsored, all-volunteer outreach program that has served hot, freshly cooked sit-down lunches restaurant-style since 1985. Guests line up at the 4th Street doorway between Walnut and Locust before entering for a single-seating meal. The program also offers on-site case management for housing assistance through a partnership with Bethesda Project, help with benefits applications (SNAP, utility grants, prescriptions), mail services, health screenings and medical referrals, and distributes clothing, socks, winter coats, and toiletries when available. Adults 18 and older are welcome.
