Hungry Harvest Community Markets sells reduced-cost fresh fruits and vegetables at community produce markets operated in partnership with University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus and Produce in a SNAP. Each market offers roughly nine to ten varieties of seasonal produce, with contents changing week to week, at about 40 percent less than grocery store prices. Shoppers receive a reusable grocery bag and, through the UMMC Mobile Market partnership, a free blood pressure screening plus healthy eating and lifestyle information. Open to anyone in the community.
