North Light Community Center hosts a USDA-funded Summer Meals site administered by Nutritional Development Services (NDS) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, providing free breakfast and lunch to all children and teens 18 and under. No identification or registration is required to receive meals. The center has served the Roxborough and Manayunk communities since 1936, offering additional programs including a food pantry, after-school care, teen college and career readiness, summer camps, and community classes. The H.O.P.E. Food Pantry (Helping Other People Eat) is a ministry of Holy Cross Parish in Mt. Airy, Philadelphia, serving neighbors since 1990. The pantry provides supplemental groceries to community members facing food insecurity.

This senior center offers two food assistance programs. Congregate sit-down lunches are served Tuesday through Friday at 12:00 PM. These meals are for individuals aged 55 and over who have registered as members. Individuals under 60 pay a full meal price (currently about $4.10), while those 60 and older are asked for a donation. A free food box program is available for individuals aged 60 and over. Enrollment in the food box program requires registration, proof of income, and proof of identity. Neither program is intended for emergency food needs.

Client-choice food pantry of the Jewish Federation's Mitzvah Food Program at JFCS's Barbara and Harvey Brodsky Enrichment Center on the Main Line. Offers fresh produce and frozen and shelf-stable kosher products through walk-in distribution and SmartChoice remote ordering. Bi-monthly delivery is available based on need. Bilingual (English/Russian) caseworkers assist clients. The program is open to anyone regardless of race, income, gender, age, or religion; personal information is required to become a full client but not to receive emergency food.

The Roxborough YMCA hosts a Summer Meals Program for children and youth, sponsored by Nutritional Development Services (NDS) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia through the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Meals meet strict USDA nutritional guidelines. The YMCA also offers a weekly food pantry distribution on Fridays. Contact person is Qia Richardson.
